Terms of Service
Effective Date: 12th April 2025
1. Overview
S3D NZ provides 3D printing, CAD design, and prototyping services to clients across New Zealand. By engaging with our services, requesting a quote, or submitting a project, you agree to these Terms of Service.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
2. Services Offered
We offer:
Custom 3D printing (one-off and bulk orders)
CAD design using Fusion 360
Rapid prototyping
Pre-designed products and workshop accessories
All services are provided on a case-by-case basis, subject to acceptance and confirmation by S3D NZ.
3. Quotes & Payment
All quotes are valid for 14 days from issue.
Work begins once the quote is accepted and (where required) a deposit is received.
Full payment is required before delivery of any printed items or final design files, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or another method as advised on the invoice.
Prices are listed in NZD and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.
4. Turnaround Times
We aim to complete most jobs within 2–5 business days, depending on complexity and workload. This is not guaranteed unless specifically agreed upon.
Rush jobs may incur additional charges.
5. Intellectual Property
All custom designs created by S3D NZ remain our intellectual property until full payment is received.
Once paid in full, you are granted a non-exclusive right to use the design or printed part for its intended purpose.
We may showcase non-confidential custom jobs for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise.
6. File Submissions & Client Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring any submitted files, designs, or measurements are accurate and free from third-party rights infringement.
We may refuse or request clarification if files are incomplete, damaged, or unsuitable for printing.
S3D NZ is not liable for faults in printed parts resulting from errors in the files or measurements provided.
7. Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our work, we do not offer refunds on completed 3D prints or design services unless a product is faulty or printed incorrectly due to our error.
If an issue arises, contact us within 7 days of receiving the item to discuss a resolution.
8. Limitation of Liability
S3D NZ will not be held liable for:
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Business interruptions, delays, or lost revenue caused by part failure or project timing
Incorrect use, installation, or modification of our printed products or files
